What is the difference between Blu-Ray and Imax DVD?

I want to purchase Cosmic Voyage and there are two options, one in Blu-Ray and one in Imax. Which is the better quality?What is the difference between Blu-Ray and Imax DVD?
Blue-ray is 1080p



The IMAX DVD is only 480p
