What is the difference between a dvd player and a blu-ray dvd player?

I always used a DVD player to watch movies.



I have to buy a new DVD Player because my old one broke. Why should I want to buy a Blu-ray dvd player instead of a regular dvd player.What is the difference between a dvd player and a blu-ray dvd player?

What you should buy is a player that states on the box that it will work with all existing disc formats. They will come out with something else that makes all that garbage in a couple of years anyway.

Hello,dvd player is for u to play dvd whil the blu-ray dvd is aimed to play the blu-ray dvd. bacause the dvd and blu-ray dvd are different in some aspects , so the playe is different~~
Blu ray players have MUCH better quality, dvd players have reasonable quality. I recommend blu ray
i ablue ray bc it is a lot better pic quality and autimaticly fits to your tv screen......... also it comes with a lot of features
