How do you insert disk to the Samsung Smart Blu Ray Player?

I set the whole thing up to my television. Everything works fine except I can't insert the disc to the player. It is a blu ray disc not that that matter. It's like there is a wall in the way when I flip the cover to the disc slot down. I see a little slot that looks like where the disc is suppose to go but it looks like a tight jam and it doesn't accept the dic anyway.
