Who decides which movies get blu ray edition?

Looking at the list of movies,there is ever growing list of movies now on blu ray.

But yet there is 3 that i want that are not



.Pet Semetary

.When a stranger calls-Bit surprised

.Blood in blood out-Not really since it's cult



But why are some not on blu ray.



Oh by the way I bought Totall Recall on blu ray,now why does it say lionsgate?Lionsgate never had anything to do with the original production.Who decides which movies get blu ray edition?
The movie studios that own the rights decide what to release and when....

HD H264 requires at least 4K scans of the negatives, so it looks descent enough when down sampled to 2K.



Lionsgate probably owns the rights now.

99.9% of hollywood is owned by the Sony Anti-Trust (because its Japanese, Sony pictures seems to be immune to US laws)
