How do I convert the region of my Blu Ray to the American version?

I recently purchased an Asus laptop here in Australia. Its got DVD and Blu Ray in it. My understanding is that its coded region specific to Australia only. I am planning to move to America soon, and I would like to change the setting to USA setting. How do I do that? Even the computer technicians here are baffled. Since the US supports the NTSC format, you're basically converting from PAL to NTSC.



While you can't change the region code of your laptop player itself, you can either: (a) buy an NTSC supported Blu-Ray player that plugs into your laptop, or (b) use a Blu-Ray video converter.

Once converted, burn it on a separate Blu-ray disc and label the NTSC version differently from the PAL version.
