Will blu ray players work on 1080i tvs and will it look good?

i have a 50 inch 1080i tv,will blu ray players work on it and look good? Will blu ray players work on 1080i tvs and will it look good?
Yes they will work, and they don't look bad. I have a FullHD projector with a 100 inch screen, and I can't really tell the difference between 1080i and 1080p.
Yes -- it will work, because HDMI cables support 480p, 720p, 1080i and also 1080p -- but it would be optimal if your TV was in 1080p.Will blu ray players work on 1080i tvs and will it look good?
Yes it will work. In fact, Blu Rays are meant to be viewed in 1080. Whether it be 1080i or 1080p, it is still high definition.

Will it look good? Sure it will. It is true that there is a slight difference between 1080p (progressive scan) and 1080i (interlace), but generally it isn't noticeable unless the distance you are sitting from your TV is more than 3 times your screen size.

Since you have a 50" screen, you would have to sit more than 150" (12' 6") from your TV to notice much of a difference. Will blu ray players work on 1080i tvs and will it look good?
They work well on this condition. Do not worry.
