What is a good and reliable blu ray player?

I would like to a recommendation on a good blu ray player. Should I get a standalone player and buy a Playstation 3 because of their reliability. Any recommendations is appreciated. It will be connected to a HDTV 1080p hi def TV.What is a good and reliable blu ray player?

So unless some company company comes out with a stand alone blu-ray player less than $200 or $300 the PS3 is your best choice.

I recommend you get a Playstation 3 because it is much cheaper than the Blu-Ray stand-alones, and it is much more than a stand-alone Blu-Ray player. I, personally own a PS3, and the quality is quite the same to regular Blu-Ray players. You can buy high-definition Blu-Ray disc games for the PS3. PS3, not only can you play games on it but you can also surf the net. And it is very reliable and very cheap, so yes, I think you should go with the PS3.
IF you are in any way into gaming - or perhaps thinking about it in the future- the PS3 would be the better buy.
