My ps3 can play vob files but im planning to buy a stand alone blu ray player, i wanted to know if my vob file collection can be played on a blu ray player. Can anyone help?Can blu ray players play vob files via usb?
Every make and model of BluRay players are different so if someone answers "Yes" to your question - it may not be true for the unit you buy. This should be one of the things you look for before purchasing.
But I agree with the previous poster. BluRay players are NOT computers. You need something like the Roku 2 box for $99 that has a USB jack for input and HDMI for output but it can handle most of the major video files.Can blu ray players play vob files via usb?
If most of the time I play different video formats, I'd buy a HDD media player that could play almost any formats I could throw in it. Much cheaper and you can always use your ps3 to play bluray discs.
