How do I get my Blu Ray player to play sound?

I have a sony BDP S360 blu ray dvd player. When I try to play a Blu Ray dvd, the sound comes through but not the voices. How do I fix this?How do I get my Blu Ray player to play sound?

I had this problem when I was using an incompatible HDMI switch. When I went to a different switch, the sound worked.



In short, try different things. You do not list your setup so I can only speculate. If you are running a cable from the TV to the HT, then the TV might not be able to handle the blue ray stuff. In that case, you will need to run a digital sound cable from the blue ray to the HT.
