I was watching the Blu Ray of Black Hawk Down on my 55" Samsung HDTV and it some scenes it seems like the movie was recorded on a very low budget camera. Compared to the time when i saw it on DVD on an older TV. Why is this? Isn't Blu-Ray suppose to be better? Or is this because they didnt use the right camera's when filming the movie or something? Why do Blu-Ray movies have scenes that sometimes look like it has been recorded with a camcorder?
Turn off the Auto Motion Plus 120 Hz processing on your TV.
Turn on 24 Hz output on your Blu ray player.
Depending on the movie, some Blu ray releases were mastered from the same files as the dvd release.
